Miguel Rodarte, an actor committed to the environment

The Culiacán-born actor will moderate the panel The Sea of Cortez Region - Call to Action, at the Summit 2022 Mission Prosperity.

Sinaloa actor, producer and environmentalist, Miguel Rodarte Espinosa de los Monterosis one of the most committed personalities in the artistic milieu to the environmental protection in Mexico, which has prompted him to train in this area and to be an active participant in various forums.

The histrion, originally from Culiacán, will participate for the second consecutive year at the Summit from Sea of Cortez Forumon this occasion moderating the panel The Sea of Cortez Region - Call to Actionwhere he will share the stage with actresses Bárbara Mori, Natalia Córdova and Mariana Burelli.

Rodarte graduated with a degree in Marketing from ITESM (Campus Monterrey) where he discovered his vocation for acting.

He pursued his first career doing qualitative market research while also preparing for acting.

As a student, he was a speaker at the 1999 ESOMAR congress in Berlin, Germany, speaking on the Near Future of Humanity with the paper "Behind the Minds of Consumers".

He has always shown a genuine interest in the environment and the care of the planet and it is in recent years that he has committed himself to become an "agent of change" by informing and helping people to become aware of the current problems, offering real solutions for the transformation towards a world that lives in greater harmony with nature.

As proof of this commitment, in September 2021 he graduated from the "Sustainable Development Course".taught by the most qualified environmentalists in the Americas and the world.

In the acting field, Rodarte trained professionally in Mexico City, initially studying the Strasberg method, and later the acting career at El Foro Teatro Contemporáneo of the acclaimed Polish director and teacher Ludwik Margules.

In his professional career he has participated in theater with directors such as Martín Acosta, Francisco Franco and Tony Castro. In television he has participated in projects such as "The Heroes of the North", "Cumbia Ninja", "Paramedics" y "Narcos: Mexico".

In cinema, he has made feature films such as "The Tiger of Santa Julia", "Saving Private Perez." y "Macho". Some of his most recent works are "Amalgam"by Carlos Cuarón; "Perfect strangers"by Manolo Caro; and "Time Sharing".whose acting work was recognized with an Ariel for Best Male Performance at the 60th edition of the Awards.

As a host he travels the entire country and in search of the most authentic Mexican Distilled Spirits recording two seasons of the series "Distilling Mexico". for Amazon Prime.

Currently, he is about to premiere participation in three series and four movies in which the following stand out: the third season of "Luis Miguel"for Netflix; "Bunker"for HBOmax; and "The Envoys"for Paramount Plus.
