Ernesto Coppel Kelly, a tourism 'shark' at the Sea of Cortez Forum's Summit 2022

The Sinaloan businessman, founder of Grupo Pueblo Bonito Golf & Spa Resorts, will share his vision in the panel Regional Tourism for Prosperity.

"Fortune favors the bold" says the hotel entrepreneur in his biography. Ernesto Coppel Kellywho will be one of the participants in the Summit 2022 Mission Prosperityof Sea of Cortez Forumfrom November 16 to 18, at Los CabosBaja California Sur.

The Mazatlán-born businessman will share his experiences at the Regional Tourism for Prosperity panelwhere the following will also participate Célida López CárdenasSecretary of Tourism of Sonora; Emilio Hernández KellyPacific Monarch Cruises; and David Hidalgo Ayalaof IBTM Americas. Luis Osuna Vidaurriof Grupo Panamá, will moderate the panel.

A graduate of Tec de Monterrey with a degree in Business Administration, Coppel Kelly is founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pueblo Bonito Golf & Spa Resorts Group.

Since 1987, it has developed six luxury beachfront hotels: two on the Pacific Coast in Mazatlán and four in Cabo San Lucas. It has construction projects in the Caribbean and Bajío.

In 2004 he was appointed Entrepreneur of the Year. He has received many recognitions for his philanthropic projects as well as for his hotel and real estate developments and also directs various social responsibility programs.

In 2005 he received the Five Star Diamond Award, by The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.

Former tourism advisor to President Vicente Fox.

He was president of the Mexican Association of Tourism Developers (AMDETUR) for the 2006-2007 period and chairman of the National Tourism Business Council (CNET) for the period (2008-2010).

He has published several books and participated in the 7th season of Shark Tanka Sony Channel reality show where entrepreneurs seek to invest in entrepreneurial projects.
